Purpose
This document outlines the process used by Claiming Lost Funds LLC to obtain client consent (“opt-in”) before sending any SMS communication. The information is provided to comply with A2P 10DLC Campaign Registry (TCR) requirements.

Overview
We work with individuals who may be entitled to recover unclaimed funds held by government entities. All communication is conducted manually, one-to-one, and only initiated after a client has expressed interest and given permission to be contacted.
In rare cases where contact by phone or email has failed, we may initiate a first SMS message to notify the client of a potential claim opportunity. These messages are individually sent and include an opt-out option. No further messages are sent without explicit consent.

Opt-In Methods
Clients provide explicit consent to receive SMS messages via one of the following methods:

1. Verbal Consent (Phone Call)

  •  During an initial phone call, the client agrees to receive updates via text.
  • This consent is documented in our internal notes, tied to the client’s case ID.

2. Written Consent

  • The client replies via email or SMS confirming their agreement to receive communication.
  • Alternatively, the client signs a short agreement that includes communication consent.

Examples of written consent:

  • “Yes, you can text me updates.”
  • “Please keep me posted about the status via SMS.”
  • [Signed PDF agreement with contact preferences]
    No automated systems or keyword-based subscriptions are used (e.g., “START” to join). Every opt-in is the result of direct interaction with the client.

Message Type and Frequency

We only send:

  • Case-related updates
  • Follow-up questions
  • Document reminders or confirmations

Message Frequency:

Occasional and only when relevant to the specific case.
We do not send any bulk messages or marketing content.

Privacy Policy Summary

  • We do not share or sell client phone numbers.
  • Communication is stored securely and used only for case-related purposes.
  • Clients may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” or contacting us directly.
